2004 ALCS Game 4

The Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees was as intense as it gets. 1997 World Series Game 7

The Indians made it to their 2nd World Series in 3 years having lost in 1995 against the Atlanta Braves and were finally looking to win their first World Series since 1948. 1975 World Series Game 6 “The greatest game ever played”

fiskOn October 21st, 1975, one of the most memorable games in all of sports was taken place in Boston at Fenway Park. The Cincinnati Reds who swept the Pittsburgh Pirates in the NLCS were looking for their first World Series title since 1940 in which they made it to the World Series in 1970 and 1972 but lost. Boston Red Sox swept the three-time defending World Series champion Oakland A’s in the ALCS and were looking for their first World Series title since 1918. Continue reading

The Double

griffey1995In 1995, the Seattle Mariners had their first breakthrough season in their young 19 years franchise history when they won their division ( AL West) for the first time by beating the California Angels in a tiebreaking game for the AL West title at the Kingdom ( Mariners home field) to advance to the MLB postseason for the first time as well. Mariners would get the wild card New York Yankees in the ALDS in which the MLB implemented after the 1994 World Series was cancelled. Continue reading
